T-Mobile MVNO for those who can't keep track of all these resellers

This is one of the few MVNOs that have international calling free if you pre-pay for 3, 6, or 12 months, at least that's how it was last I checked.

My dad refuses to change his number so we can't do this promo, but he's been using them for years with no issues. He calls phone numbers in Poland a few times a week.

There are some added taxes and fees. We usually get their $160/year plan, and it comes to about $190 total, though that may vary a bit by state.

Most people probably just use something like WhatsApp or FaceTime audio for calls, but if you have tech illiterate relatives abroad, there should be a chart on their website that shows which countries are included.

I checked with CS over chat and they told that just once the data allocation is used up, the data will be slowed down but not cut off.

I might have to return the 15gb infimobile deal for this - i wfh and even when i didnt i dont think i used much more than 5gb per month. The nice thing about this deal is that hotspot is included, which I rarely use but its nice to always have available.

so this uses same tmo network as mint and offers more for about half the price (of their 5gb plan)? is there any reason to not switch from mint?

Yeah same, would like to know. Have a few more months on current plan right now, would like to know how long it can stay before it expires

It runs on t-mobile's service and they don't hard cap it. You will get depriortized access during times of "congestion" ie prime time hours. 6pm to 11 I think.

Maybe they don't hard cap, but what's their throttled speed? Seems to differ wildly between nvmos

I dug into it a bit and these low cost plans are hard stop (8GB means 8GB), but to add another 1GB is $10 so I suppose to be wise buy more data than you need. International roaming is also a rip so you can just use roamless and not worry about it. The nice feature is hotspot draws from main pool so you can figure that also.
Thanks for the info.

Has anyone done any comparison between ultra mobile and Mint mobiles network coverage? My renewal on Mint is due next month. Ultra seem to be cheaper for my use case. Also anyone had any reference on Verizon mvno? I noticed spectrum mobipes use Verizon network and their coverage is much better than Mint

How easy is it to port out later? Available automated on the website or do you have to use a support rep to get your pin?

Infimobile now offers T-Mobile as well as Verizon network sims.
Lots of problems on my 2 Infimobile TMO SIMs vs my 2 Verizon SIMs, for what it's worth.

Haven't had a problem hotspotting on Infimobile, even without paying for hotspot. I'm on a Pixel, so maybe that's the difference, but I don't think so...
