Hasn't worked for a couple years. Different email, different CC; last year I even tried different mailing address and QVC/HSN canceled my order

First, it's $40 for the pair for new customers, as clearly stated in the very first words in the title.

Secondly, a friendly reminder - not everyone needs unlimited talk/text/data. Some people just want an emergency phone, or something with a valid number that they can give out for spammy crap like stores asking for a phone number for discounts. You said so yourself. If you think that's not useful - enjoy all that spam, I guess.

Thirdly, a 4G radio is fine for most applications. A micro SD card slot will let you add half a freaking terabyte of storage for 20 or 30 bucks. No one using this kind of phone needs more than 4gb of ram. These are great devices for people who just want to fit an absolute crap ton of apps, music, movies, and TV onto a phone.

What do you want for $40.00?
at $40 for two phones, i'd want 45GHz CPU, 96GB RAM, 48TB, USB8.8.1, thunderbolt 14, HDMI 12.4, 32G cellular network, WiFi 43, and of course 60000mah battery and a 1000w charging speed.

What are you changing to push the order through? Name? Email? CC? Address?
New Gmail not the + trick, new address, new credit card (address on cc is my real address that has been used on prior orders). Added Dr. in front of my name. Will let you know if it ships.

What are you doing where you need an "emergency" phone -- seriously, how many times has your main phone given up the ghost, there was NO one else around you with another device, no other businesses nearby to help you in a pinch, and you genuinely needed to use an "emergency" phone?

Then again, this is coming from someone who didn't get ANY mobile until 2006ish....so I survived just fine for quite a few decades with a landline. Maybe folks today aren't as resilient?

And why would I give out my phone number to stores? You can simply say "no thank you" and be done with it. Try saying "no" once in a while, it's a hoot!
Hoping to get help from the random people who might happen to be around seems like a bad idea when you can merely spend $40 and help yourself out of a bad situation.

Come on, you know you would be just fine with the 31g network, but everything else is spot on.

Went ahead and got this. Never ordered from QVC so not worried about getting it.
I have been looking for a better android phone than my current Cricket Ovation 2 from 2021. I don't use it for cellular, it is for a few apps that I have that are android only, and the Ovation 2 was slow when I got it, so 4 years later is is not any better. I am not expecting this to be amazing by any means, but should meet my needs for quite a while.
the bonus with this is I get 2 phones, with minimal plan, and will be unlocked in 2 months if I want to use it elsewhere (the 5 gig Infimobile deal that pops up occasionally would be a good fit for a spare phone).
Curious, anyone know how long I have to activate the lines? I could do one of them now, and in a year do the other one (or just do the 2nd one if I go through the plan before a year, which I don't expect to).

Don't sleep on the moto stylus 5g 2025. It's snappy. I'm coming from an iphone 15PM. I wanted an android phone to play with and it's surprised me how good it is. Straight talk is running a special.
Just to clarify: ealex134 refers to the other new Tracfone deal ongoing in QVC, whch is for Moto G 5G 2025, not stylus. I blame Motorola for their confusing naming scheme.

I also have both phones: Moto G Play 2024 in this thread, and Moto G 5G 2025. The answer would depend on how young your son is. If this is just a distraction toy and maybe an emergency communicator, Play 2024 would be more than capable and cheap enough that you'll have a backup when he smashes one. This deal also comes with an extra year of serivce when combined. Otherwise, the 5G 2025 would last him a couple years longer, with the addition of 5G, Esim, NFC, and an extra year of updates. But you'll have to buy the extra years of service separately; sooner if he becomes active on social.

I also have the 3rd phone mentioned, the Moto G Stylus 2025, and it is every bit as good as SKV4m indicated. But that's also more than 2x the price of both of the deals here, especially when considering service plan costs.

TL;DR - Get him 2x Moto G Play 2024 as toys. Get Moto G 5G 2025 to future-proof. Get Moto G Stylus 2025 for yourself.

I've gone 5 months before activating. There are stories of activating after a year. One note is that the 1.5Gb plans stack; i.e. if you activate the 2nd one before year end, the time/data/min/txt would be added to your existing balance, as long as you chose the option to use your 1st line phone number during 2nd activation. There have been more frequent policy changes however, so YMMV.

Quick question for you Aquasink....I've done the same (use these prepaid deals to reload my existing tracfone lines, mostly for end of service date), but the last time I tried CS said that adding benefits from a new line to an existing line would change the existing line's phone number to the new lines number.

First I heard of that......so standard operating procedure for me is to just try a different rep when tracfone agents feed you a line of BS.

I try to go through customer service chat that way you can make a record of everthing that happens in case benefits or a line is lost (allthough sometimes it doesn't help as tracfone will just disregard any and all proof you have). However I had three in a row state the same thing, so I began to wonder if there was a policy change. Anyway I did it via the online tool and it worked (although I later had to switch sims after line was deactivated 24 or 48 hours later), allowing me to transfer benefits from my new phones to an existing line and retain the existing line's number.

I was wondering if you noticed any changes if you did a benefit transfer recently.
I have personally lost numbers and balances due to incompetent Tracfone CS. Even had one asking me to fill out a 5 star satisfaction survey before proceeding to wipe my account. Their SOP to merge balances may have changed with wrong steps (observed when comparing to TF Mini Guide) so all CS are now trained on bad info. Just use the website like you discovered, don't bother calling.

I have gotten hotspot to work, however don't recommend bothering with it given it's only 1.5Gb. Keep in mind phones on wifi will use more data than when on cell.

First of all, its $70 for the pair...not $40. Not everyone is a "new customer".Secondly, a friendly reminder -- this plan is not a normal mobile phone plan. You only get 1500 minutes/texts/mb of data for the entire year. Works out to be roughly 4mb of data and 4 minutes of calling per day. Some people can hand-wave that away, justifying it (it's a SPARE phone, use google voice, use someone else's wifi, etc) -- but there's no hiding that it's the barest of the bare bone mobile plan possible.Thirdly, only a 4G radio and a mere 64gb of internal storage. 4gb of ram. These are just "acceptable" devices.
You follow nearly all these phone deals and are miserable and negative on most. People have different needs and at the end of the day, they're cheap phones that they can do whatever they want with. You assume people are ignorant when getting these deals. Get over yourself.

Pick a different color case. Black and blue are OOS (you can be on a waitlist for it if you want), but the others are still available. I got the Blue Marble. I don't care about the color of the case since it is not my daily phone.

Thanks.
I don't want to stack because if I did, I would not be able to unlock the 2nd one. Or could I stack the plan on 1 SIM and use it in 1 phone for 2 months, unlock it, then move the SIM to the other phone, and it would be able to be unlocked after 2 months as well?
If so, that would be nice.

Again, select a different color, black and blue are OOS, all the rest are still in stock at the moment.
