For something like a dashcam, I definitely wouldn't cheap out. There's a good Reddit post here with some better recommendations.

if you install hardwire kit, some features like 24 hours parking, g sensor at collision etc.. will be there. but i do not want to with that, as it may affect battery performance in long run.

Super clear playback.
I do have Redtiger F7N 4K for about 2 years and no regrets so far. I doubt would kept up with performance if I always parked under the heat. I always do garage parking, in building parkings.
I called RedTiger and they sent me a hardwire kit for free.
I have been looking to replace this, only because there are better dashcams now.
Question for anyone that has experience with these. Would it be problematic to use this as a rear dashcam only? I have a 12v socket in the trunk of my Honda CRV and I'm kind nervous to run a wire from the front of my vehicle to the rear just to get dual channel working. Any opinions on why this would be a bad idea?

Shouldn't be a problem, I had one (not this model) mounted on my 2019 Tucson. just make sure you have enough slack if you have a hatchback/ liftgate or it might come unplugged
