went to Walmart the day after Halloween to stock up on candy. Was told by the manager they are trying something different this year and candy doesn't go 50 % off until November 5th. This is central florida area

maybe not great, but the best price out there right now. It will probably drop again assuming they have stock in another week or two. (Amazon has it for this price too).

In comparison, they have the 10 oz bag for $3.40 or so of the fun size Snickers so at least this is an overall better deal per oz for $1.50 more.

Three Walmarts in my area had Halloween candy at only 25% right now. They used to reliably discount their candy at 50% the day after.

Not sure if you ordered for pick up or delivery. But most Walmart delivery orders are fulfilled locally, from a store close by, especially grocery type items. It's possible when you ordered, stock existed, but hours later when they went to pull the bags, they had been purchased in store or they oversold them online somehow. It happens. This same deal is at Amazon if you want to try ordering there.

Exactly. Claiming $20 is false advertising. Buyer beware when it comes to Mallwart's claim of original price. I ordered these yesterday thinking I was getting something for 75% off and I realized I was scammed the second I saw the size of the bag. Lesson learned. Still a decent price, but, claiming $20.40 is just BS. Not blaming poster, that's the price right on Walmart's product page.

Still weird to see $20.40 as the normal price. That is definitely wrong. But if the normal price is $6.52 or so, that'd make it 50% off.
