This set's sale price has been $329 at the beginning of the year. It could get lower between now and the end of the year, or it could be the new sale price going forward because of inflation. These are made in Taiwan, so they became subject to a 20% tariff that went into effect in August.

I might jump on the 1/4 and 3/8 set, or maybe just the 1/4 set which are a decent price and do not expire in a few hours. Thank you for making me aware of them.

The combo deal with all three sets does save an additional $50 but 1/2 is the one size I'm actually well stocked on.

I've been checking on this set once a month or so for a long time now and it's finally on sale. So I picked it up.

nice tools. i would have jumped if i have not bought all possible tools i need already. the only shortcoming is that the deep sockets for the 1/2 size is quite limited. 21 and 22mm are quite common.

I pulled the trigger on this set earlier this year as well. I was sold on the square sockets. I went with Milwaukee impact sockets, too, as I could easily read the socket sizes on them. My vision isn't as sharp as it used to be.
