Cons: no IP rating, no water or dust protection, no gorilla glass protection. LCD screen ( no OLED ) and the big cons IMO is, no more Android upgrade, it's stock on Android 15 and will never get another upgrade. Security updates will available till 2027.
For the same amount of money you can get the 2025 Moto G Stylus which eliminate all the cons, however you will have to deal with the process to get it unlock if that's your goal. For this price is hard to find another phone with the same features. The Galaxy A16 IMO has better screen but its slow AF. And iPhone 11 its around the same price but you will have to deal with a used phone, 3 years old battery and even when the iPhone 11 is twice as fast on bechmarks than the Moto, the Moto feels way faster, specially on multitask because it has double the RAM.
Conclusion: This is probably the best phone you can buy on Amazon brand new and unlock for $129. If you can deal with all the cons go for it. If it goes cheaper on BlackFriday that will be a crazy must buy even if you don't need.

I think that the Moto G Power series of phones is either based on, or a replacement for the Optimo Max of 2020 (only improved). I hope so because those have been great phones for casual users (fantastic battery life, decent speed, not so great camera).

I upgraded from a 2023 Power G. This one has wireless charging and NFC, which for me was an upgrade from the former.
In fact, the Moto G power/stylus 2024 or 2025 edition is one of the very few phones on the market today in the USA that has a full feature set:
5G capable and works on every major carrier in the USA.
8 core CPU
8GB of RAM
128GB+ of ROM
SD CARD
HEADPHONE JACK
WIRELESS CHARGING
OIS on MAIN CAMERA 50MP

I'm on Cricket, so the AT&T lock does not affect me, though I worry even after several phone updates/reboots. I enjoy the larger screen (as with any phone compared to the SE, lol) and the Moto gestures, but Android will take some getting used to.
EDIT:
oops, I just realized OP's is 2024 version. Why the preference for last year's model?
