A lot of those one star reviews seem like they are from people who misused them or don't know how to plug them in and charge them properly. But every product has their flaws so I'm sure some are accurate. I wouldn't be expecting a durable flashlight at this price point anyway. And not one that is as bright as some of the reviewers were hoping for. Seems like a good light for a car or quick grab for a decent spot of light.
