When I was a kid, my gf's dog died from a bone splinter getting lodged inside. So, I am not sure all natural chewing options are going to always be much safer.

My dog ignores my rubber chuckit's for the fabric tennis balls at the ball park because he can destroy those. Maybe these he'll chase and bring back.

my dog will eat sticks, paper, foil, wrappers, bugs, cardboard, lumber, etc. i don't think this will do too much worse than that!
