In case anyone interested in Brushless Tools (with batteries), you can look at this one. It is at a great price. YMMV.

Our community has rated this post as helpful. If you agree, why not thank

For those of you talking smack about this little guy that it's not brushless bla bla bla. I bought one of these in a kit over 10 years ago. It has done everything I needed it to do around the house. Hell, I used it to drill a hole in the concrete for a safe twice and it worked just fine. Finally it's getting tired and I saw mine spit out some plastic parts so this will come in handy for another 10+ years hopefully

Built my 35x12 deck with this impact. I've had this driver for a while and used it a ton. It's driven all the decking screws in my composite boards without issue. I'm actually considering getting an extra at this price but I've got like 3 drivers already.

for those who didn't invest in Ryobi system and this is just for home use, SKIL 12V brushless driver with battery and charger for $44 at Lowes may be your huckleberry.

and for $69, you can have drill and driver combo 12V (but only 1 battery)

No not brushless. This is the old brushed model with a variable trigger. One thing I really like about it is it still has the magnetic tray. That has been removed off all the newer models for the last several years.

Despite the lack of the tray, my go-to set for the last few years has been the brushless compact drill/impact driver set. Think I paid around seventy dollars after coupon for the set with batteries, charger, and bag. Is so light and handy. And they have been powerful enough for everything I have used them for. https://www.google.com/search?q=r...pv& pvs=0

I would highly recommend on a sale.

Does the Ryobi 40v 10" pole saw ever go on sale
I have been waiting for this for a long time since buying my house. I just broke down and bought the 18V one for $99 to get me by while I wait. I only trim once a year, so if this gets me by, I won't complain, I guess.

Ones for drilling holes
The other is for driving large screws into wood, turning bolts, etc
