This one on Amazon has 2.2lbs of agent and weighs 3.2lbs.
Sometimes costco in store will drop the price on the first alert ones from $40 to $30.
That has 5lbs of agent but weighs 10lbs.

Main thing is don't just throw it into a cabinet somewhere where you can't easily grab it if needed. You might not be home, so make it as simple as possible to spot & use. The mounting bracket is there for a purpose, don't ignore it. A good idea is to place it towards the exit, so you can grab it without going past any fire, and still be able to bail out the door quickly if the fire grows rapidly.
