Can anyone describe the sound signature with all the Baseus enhancements turned off?
Previously, I owned and returned the BC1 because with the default settings (Baseus EQ + bass boost) they had a lot of distortion on bassy tracks. With all the enhancements disabled, they sounded anaemic and hollow.

I wonder if that's just how baseus sounds. I have their bose collab XH1's and with the sound customization and bass on they sound pretty amazing. When it's just the stock Bose preset they sound ok.
I have the non-pro Bowie MC1, and overall I like them, as open earbuds. I have quite a collection of cheaper open-style earbuds. The pro's appear to have the same battery life per charge including case battery capacity (9 hours per charge, and up to 40 hours with the charging case).
Definitely not a bad deal at $40. You could do worse.
Likes:
-physical button control, so no accidental changes due to the touch sensor brushing against your neck or skin.
-lightweight, fits securely and comfortably.
-sound quality is decent for open earbuds
Dislikes:
-A LOT of notification beeps, especially if you use multi-point. Every time the buds connect or disconnect from a device, you'll get a loud notification beep. Low battery, loud beep. And it's not immediately clear which beep is for what reason.
-The speaker holes are very small, and it is easy for earwax and dust to accumulate to the point of completely blocking the holes. You need a pretty fine haired brush to clear our the holes every couple of months, or the volume of the audio becomes way too low.
-Battery life is not bad, but feels a little short.
I just switched from the BC1 to try the MC1 Pro. Not worth it IMO. I don't hear much of a difference at all in sound quality.
Funny, for me I started with an MC1 Pro, tried to get a cheaper BC1 for the gym and I noticed enough of a difference in audio quality (better separation of bass and treble/mids and clarity) that I'm getting another MC1 Pro.
I was originally pleasantly surprised by how good the MC1 Pros were when I first got it, but trying out the BC1 side by side with these really made it clear to me that the extra ~$15 (after coupon) is money well spent.

Got them the same day that I ordered. Wife seems to be happy with them. Normal earbuds kept falling out. Phone call seemed fine, but that was inside where there wasn't any background noise.
