I made a deal for a mini PC (Beelink Ser5, Ryzen 7 6800H, 32GB RAM) and am now thinking about getting one or two of these (horizontally stacked) from the eBay Acer Refurbished Store. I plan to do some light video editing and use GeForce Now/Steam together with my Oculus 3. For this price, this seems like a decent monitor for my setup, right?

I have this exact one - also bought it refurbished over a year ago from Acer. It pretty much looked 99% brand new. The only sign showing it had been used is that the power cord was just rubber banded together instead of being in a plastic sleeve (or cardboard sleeve).

I got this deal two weeks ago. Monitor does show signs of use in my case, but nothing a cleaning wipe cannot take care of. Monitor seems pretty nice but it is matte finish and not glossy. The colors on it don't look super deep to me, but perhaps I need to change some settings around but great deal imo.

Someone mentioned this in another thread about this monitor (I just ordered one also for a present)

"The extra nits matter. I have this monitor from a previous deal. Out of the box it was fairly blah running at presumably 250 nits. But there is an HDR400 mode you have to put it in and then it really pops."

For the ~$130 price I paid for it, I cannot complain at all. The only gripe is that the colors look a little washed out - perhaps partially because the screen is a super matte finish. The resolution is too low for the screen size as you can see the individual pixels if you look for it (if you're playing racing games and whatnot, then you won't notice the pixelation).

I bought this exact eBay listing and received it 2 days ago. They shipped it well (box was way bigger then I expected), and once I got it set up and changed the HDR settings like someone suggested in another comment, this thing really pops for the money!
My only complaint is that the VESA screw holes are pretty low on the back of the monitor. If you plan to use something other then the stand it comes with, beware of that.

They have good deals on a few 27" QHD monitors, too.
