Yep, I do like these shoes but had the same thing happen and now they are unusable. It's not like breaking a lace on a normal pair of shoes.

They have size 14 and 14w for our normal sized feet people. And they still are discounted. In 4 one my gym shoes recently wore out to a point I need a replacement.

Maybe wide are different. I ordered my normal 11.5 for Adidas and I could prob fit an 11. YMMV

I own close to 20 pairs of sneakers, and like many have already mentioned, these as a pair of beaters are elite.

They're shockingly comfortable. I have low arches, and these are perfect with a roomy toe box. Lite Racers have that glove feeling, and slipping them on and off couldn't be easier.

Traction on the sole do wear fairly quick though.

FWIW, I have had 3 or 4 pair of this shoe in different colors. I wear them nearly daily and haven't had any problems with the laces on any pair. So YMMV. The mesh and laces hold up fantastic for me. The sole of the shoe ends up wearing down and the turn into skates on any smooth surface.

I have the exact same shoes. Its comfortable and easy to sip on. It gets dirty quickly and not an easy task to clean.

I've been through three pairs of these and they're fantastic. Wearing them now. Get dirty? Throw them in the washing machine. They last, they're sturdy, and for the price it's an absolute no brainer.

Put em in the washing machine. The whole shoe - insole as well. They wash up beautifully.

Which little string broke?
I thought the laces were just cosmetic.

They don't lace or hold anything tight. Seems like they just sit there and look pretty.
