This is an excellent cooler. 6-7 day ice. Do wish igloo would make a wheel kit for it.

Much better than I expected. The tray system inside this one is better than most.

Same. Give it wheels and I'd get this. I don't actually understand how so many people get coolers of this size without wheels.

We don't haul them around - I use smaller coolers if I need more portability, do other people take 70 quart coolers on walks around the neighborhood or down trails when they go backpacking? It goes in my truck for car camping at festivals, and only moves 10-15 once on site. When full, I can lift it into my truck bed by myself, but it's right at the limit of what I want to move without help.

It's a good cooler though, solid and offers excellent ice retention. Not sure if it's bear-resistant like a Yeti or my Lifetime coolers, but I've tested it (accidentally) against a dog, and it still performs like new despite having chewed up corners.

I think the Igloo IMX coolers are made in the USA (Texas) too (if you like to buy US). I'm shocked Igloo (or anyone) hasn't made a simple base with wheels for these types of coolers. Seems like an easy niche to fill

Oh, wow - that's not bad at all - a little spendy but pretty cool. Seems a simply wheeled base (like a furniture dolly of sorts) with adjustable ratcheted corners that slide inward or outward to lock in the cooler would be cool.

For most of those people they stay put. I've got a 65 quart RTIC on my boat that I only move when I absolutely have to because it's like lifting a small car, especially when it's loaded.

Oh, interesting - not even China. Igloo's website said that some of the IMX line is made in Katy, TX and some in China but didn't really detail which ones.

It looks like 16.5 is the max cooler width the axles will fit, so i'm doubting this particular wheel kit wheel work.
