Dabbing sauce or glaze on food as it cooks. Popular in the BBQ world.

Ironically I was thinking about grabbing one of these when I last smoked a few racks of ribs. Great deal but also random to be able to get this deal haha

Some confusion on the listing page. Sponsored ads for commercial mop head replacements.😂

Not if you spray them off with water after use.

It seems like that wouldn't work with oil, which is in the name.

Yes, very unsanitary. It seems like a mop to spread bacteria onto your food.

Well, if you are using it to mop BBQ sauce, it shouldn't be a big deal, as it is being heated after mopping which would kill any pathogens. The NE fire departments (Especially in central NY) all use these for mopping "Cornell" sauce on their Chicken BBQS.

Maybe go with this since this has an extra 4 replacement mop heads. https://www.amazon.com/YFWOOD-Bas...B07WBY55V4

Sure, why not. Cheap, don't have one, and have been stuck using a basting brush all these years.
