Non-folding plugs are OK if you plan to leave them plugged in. But for travel or throwing something in the backpack, you don't want a charger with prongs poking out all the time.
All the other ones that came before never broke or bent. Just don't put anything heavy on it and you'll be good....
I was also comparing these two brands a couple days ago and decided to try Spigen. I have used their cases mostly and its top quality. Anker is a brand known for reliability so you can't go wrong with that. Spigen charger GaN 3 is newer and better and with its overall reputation and 2 years warranty over 1.5 of Anker I think it's worth the try. I just got it today and it charges as expected, no issue.
I don't think Anker is known for reliability. I've had lots of poorly made Chinese products from Anker that broke quickly. I would put them just a tad above no-name/alphabet soup Chinese brands. They do have brand recognition and maybe their customer support is ok...that's about it.
