32.5 oz Vega Original Essential Protein - 25g Plant-Based Protein, Creamy Vanilla is currently $16.99, with a 25% coupon for subscribe and save, plus the S&S discount.

My total was $12.11 (5% S&S), a great price- about 61 cents per 25 gram of protein serving.

I've tasted better but it's just fine mixed into a multi-ingredient smoothie.

Now let the talk about Consumer Reports and lead begin.

It appears YMMV on the coupon.

I have been using this protein for a few years now. I just read the Consumer Reports article on the amount of lead in protein powder. According to this report you should not exceed 3 or 4 serving a week due to the lead content. Just a heads up for those that care about health issues in food.

The article can be found here: https://www.consumerreports.org/l...206364640/
