A bit misleading. It's actually a 64G SD card you get for the listed price. No option for 256G. 128G is an extra $3.

I got a similar one from AliExpress last month. Waited a few weeks and the shipping confirmation was about 5 states west of if me somehow. Got a refund but no game system. Maybe today's my lucky day

I've got the r36s before but gave it away after upgrading to a retroid pocket 2. You really get what you pay for here. It works but the controls and ergonomics are really uncomfortable. The buttons and dpad feel like stiff hard plastic from a fisher price toy. The OS and software work fine though, and all that stuff can be replaced with better options as well. I just think this money would be better spent on a slightly higher quality unit.

How many games do these come with? Are they on the SD card?

The better budget handheld in the R36s range is the BatleXP G350, it's rumored to be built by Anbernic. Built quality is on par with their devices.

One of the nicest thing about a real R36S (not the clones) is dual-booting Linux and Android (LineageOS: https://github.com/andr36oid/releases/releases). It allows this sub-$25 device to run some native Android games/ports, which are otherwise unavailable on very low-end Linux handhelds via emulation or PortMaster (e.g., GTA: San Andreas, Bully, Horizon Chase, Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic, Jade Empire, and many Telltale games). Many ~$40 handhelds (like all the Anbernic H700-based devices) can't do this.
