This bundle stands out as a strong value for a Z890 motherboard and 32GB of DDR5 6000 CL36, especially with RAM prices climbing and the free game included. The board brings Wi Fi 7, 2.5GbE, four M.2 slots, and a hefty 16 plus 1 plus 2 plus 1 phase VRM, while the memory is solid mainstream speed for a new build. The main drawback is that the RAM is not especially tunable and the platform may not see many future CPU upgrades on LGA 1851. The bundle also appears to have cart quirks and pricing changes, so it is worth checking the listing carefully.

Common Questions (6)

  • Yes. The bundle pairs a midrange Z890 ATX board with 32GB of DDR5-6000 CL36, which is especially strong value while DDR5 prices are up sharply. The board also adds Wi‑Fi 7, 2.5GbE, PCIe 5.0 x16, and four M.2 slots.

  • Yes. The memory and game promos appear as separate gift items in cart, and they can also be seen on the individual product listings. If you only see the motherboard and CPU, the bundle items may not have populated yet.

  • Yes. The free game choices can be treated as a resale or giveaway item, and Battlefield 6 is the suggested pick if you want the easiest one to move.

  • It may not be. One report says the RAM part of the deal ended, and another shows the combo price jumping to $655, which suggests the bundle pricing changed or expired.

  • No. Z890 is for the Core Ultra family on LGA1851, while Z790 is the platform for 14th gen Intel CPUs.

  • Yes. The 265K's integrated graphics are enough for productivity and light gaming, so a separate RX 6500 XT is unnecessary unless you want more gaming performance.

Just curious - If you aren't gaming, why not just use the integrated graphics from the 265K and skip buying the PowerColor Fighter AMD Radeon RX 6500 XT? The integrated graphics of the 265K should be powerful enough by itself for any productivity tasks and even light gaming.
The graphics card was bought first as I was piecing parts, incase the MB didn't have an integrated graphics. I am still debating if it's worth returning to Woot, or if it will be any advantage for my use until a decent Slickdeals new graphics card is available (under $100). I am from the era of LAN parties and 56k modems just came out for gaming (Duke Nukem, Quake, C&C, Starcraft, etc.) and it's hard to believe the graphic cards are so damn expensive now. I feel for you gamers these days. Roll Eyes (Sarcastic)

I don't see the RAM when the motherboard is added to the cart. Is this still working for other people?

Just now, the combo shows $655 for me. Too much since I don't absolutely have to have it.

If you are doing a budget build anytime in the next year I would jump on this, ram prices won't be going down anytime soon and a lot of the deals from Microcenter have removed the ram from the bundle.

Sorry to break it to everyone looking for cheap DDR5...

No one is selling a 32GB RAM + MOBO Combo for this cheap anymore, these will be pulled just as soon as the graphics card did 5 years ago. 32GB DDR5 is worth almost $280 by itself now from $95 a couple months ago.

The days of buying cheap DDR5, SSDs and sub $0.13 kWh electricity bills are gone, the new ERA of parabolic electricity bills, DDR ram, SSD drives prices due to subsidizing A.I. have just started.
