I am going to chime in here. A few years ago I did this deal at the restaurant. I paid for the gift card. I got the 3 $10 gift cards and found out that you can't use all 3 gift cards at one time. And they had to be used within a short amount of time. I can't remember the time frame, but it was either 30 or 90 days. I felt like I got ripped off and even spoke to the manager.....she said she was sorry and that's just how the gift cards operate. So it is more like a $10 off each visit for the next 3 visits within a short time period. It may have changed. I searched the T&C on this link and it does not specify anything. YMMV.

I thought I heard Texas Roadhouse doesn't let those $10 expire. That sounds like Applebees
Guests will receive $10 reward card for every $50 gift card purchased, up to $100 maximum reward value per transaction. (Reward gift card expires at the end of the year

This is not true. You might be talking about Outback or some other restaurant! The bonus card issued by Texas works similar to a GC with no expiration date. In one of my orders, I was able to combine all my texas $10 bonus cards and pay so I didn't have to worry about small change GCs later.I used to be an Outback regular and they used to run the 2 $10 bonus cards on $50 purchase. They did make the terms and conditions worse in the last few years: each bonus card applicable to certain non-overlapping months, cannot use as online payment (have to pay/use them in person). I shifted from Outback to Texas and don't regret. The steak is also more jucier/tastier!!
