If you check nearby stores and look for On Clearance Instore it will show what stores have it on clearance. Downside is HD will not allow you to add a Clearance item to cart.

My personal experience vs Narex Richters.

The Dewalts can give good results, but doesn't hold edge sharpness as long as the much pricier Narex. But it still holds sharpness for a reasonable amount of time. Generally, I use it for chopping out mortises, and save the Narex for final cleanup.

If possible, I'd be interested to see how they fare vs the budget Narex line.

My store showed 3,in stock at the clearance price. I went there and they had about 5 of them on a clip strip. I took 2, and an employee took 1. I went up to SCO to pay, and they stand right over my shoulder watching the transaction.
