The protection offered by T-Mobile is awful at their price. You're better off using a card like Chase Sapphire Reserve or Amex Platinum to pay for the iPad and you won't have a monthly insurance payment and still will have a smaller deductible than paying though T-Mobile Assurant plan (there are many cards with much smaller or no annual fees that offer that - Citi AA, U.S. Bank Cash Plus, Penfed Pathfinder, Bilt (and many many more).
Apologies if my information on the cards that offer
Insurance are outdated - so many companies nurf their programs these days that it's hard keep track of.
Edit: AppleCare One deductible for a stolen iPad is $129. It's a no brainer as long as you're not the type to lose more than three devices per year - as each theft claim on your account counts against your accounts Theft claims per year.
I think this is coming from Apple and they're just clearing house on the M4s like they recently did with the MacBook Pro M3s. There is little they can improve on in sense of processing power etc. to warrant an annual upgrade - so how do you show strong sales of the latest and greatest? Remove all previous competing models.
Crazy how the 1TB was also $1099 before it sold out? Am I glad I didn't get tempted by that and didn't see it posted. You really came through clutch on this deal. Thanks again.

Like I bit the bullet and sold a MacBook Pro M1 Max with 4TB of storage 64GB Ram and a MSRP of $5399 plus tax and applecare plus for the amazing price of ... $2000. Thankfully i didn't pay anywhere in the vicinity of original MSRP. But the computer had 111 charge cycles, 96% battery, and not a scratch on it. It took three months. This is the first time i have had such a difficult time selling an Apple product. From what i hear, the watches are even worse of a scam on the secondary market; which is why i now either gift them when i'm upgrading or if we are doing a company wide competitorupgrade, i donate them to a school or after school program in dire straits (looks really suspicious when potential donors see kids working on MacBook Pros and the board is raising funds) - but it's a donation, so at least they can be assured their money will not go towards overpriced computers lol
