Switch 2 can only use Micro SD EXPRESS cards. If it does not say EXPRESS, It's not compatible with Switch 2. And since Micro SD EXPRESS is a relatively new tech, it's not gonna get sales at this level for a long while. If you see a 1TB EXPRESS card for sub-$100 any time between now and the end of 2026, it's either not EXPRESS or its fake.

(The caps is on purpose for clarity)

Edit: Look for the EX symbol on the card.

This is the faster 200mb/sec card. The more popular AmazonBasics card is 100 mb/sec. This is fast enough for Switch 1 and incompatible with Switch 2, which requires MicroSD Express cards. This is not express.

I just got a single one of these (open package) from Amazon for $57 so ask yourself if you really need three..
