Good price.

SE 3 (2025) is also at a discounted price in Amazon and Costco.

If you don't mind used, Series 9 offers much more, and is below this price point on eBay, often with a new battery.

To first-time buyers:

Having an Apple watch can be cool and useful, but having to charge it daily was too much for me. As someone else once described it in a review/forum, it's like getting a pet you never wanted.

Also, how are you supposed to benefit from the sleep tracking (which Apple is objectively very good at) if you need to charge it at night? I saw the recommendations to quick-charge it during your night and morning routines, but this adds even more maintenance to owning an Apple watch.

There are other brands that offer similar features but whose batteries last several days or even weeks. I have other Apple products, and I enjoy them, but the watches need better battery life.

PS: I anticipate hurting some fanboy feelings here, but this is my honest opinion.

I'll add to this for first time Cellular Apple Watch users: it almost never functions. If you're near your phone, it will use BT. If you're near a known network, it will use wifi. If you're not near either, it will switch to LTE, but it will not indicate that it has or does not have a connection. It just...doesn't connect. And often, if your phone or watch OS updates, your watch will lose its carrier settings and it will be without LTE.

This seems like a minor thing, except that (a) in Apple fashion, if it loses it's LTE settings it fails silently and (b) you can't change or update your LTE settings from the watch. You MUST have your paired phone with you to update these settings and re-connect to the LTE network. So if you're stuck without your phone and your watch has silently dropped off the cell network...you have no way to connect. You know, the main reason you paid extra and spend money every month to connect it. The third time the watch disconnected from the network and left me stranded (in under 2 years) I cancelled my watch LTE plan. I still have it and I still wear it because no other watch can connect with iMessage. But I won't buy another LTE watch that can't be managed independently from it's tethering device.
