Is there a big difference between the 3,100 psi vs 3,400 and 2.3 vs 2.5 gpm? Local store doesn't have the 240$ in stock so it's between the $192 or $252. I would only be using it to clean the driveway, deck and maybe house siding but not sure if the cheaper one would be strong enough to do the driveway?

The 3100 should be fine. I had a 3300 and 2.5 GPM and it was plenty to do all of what you want.

Jobs will be 10% faster LOL. In all seriousness, until you step up to a "pro" unit that will be much bigger and more powerful, most of the "residential" gas models are about the same. The pro models allow you to have a wider pass at a given intensity to tackle larger jobs faster. I have a Homelite brand with Honda GCV 160 engine rated at 2,700PSI 2.3GPM and it is great but takes hours to do large jobs. I can't complain got it for free from a friend that was testing out adding pressure washing to his landscaping business. He quickly upgraded to a very expensive giant pro model. I did have to replace the water pump seal which is a common issue on the model I have. It is a very easy job, 3 bolts and you have access to the seal. Just need the right size pipe to get it to seat evenly.

I had a 2600psi Toro used for about 12 years both wand and that disk thing, worked perfectly and did job fast, doubt 3,100 to 3,400 you can even tell a difference.

Just fwiw at 2,600 it does sting some if you hit your skin, 3,400 may sting a tad more lol.

From what I researched it said 2.5 is the way to go for cleaning concrete. 2.3 won't get some stuff off.

What about the difference going from a 2.5GPM to 3.5GPM? I have a Simpson 3200PSI at 2.5GPM with the Kohler engine and it has been great, starts up every time. I'm very tempted by the 3.5GPM at 4000PSI with the Honda engine. I could likely sell my other one close to this price. Curious on inputs here, both would have the triplex pump.

Anyone use the 4000psi one ever? Need something like that for several deck projects where I need to strip old layers....

The 3100 psi comes up $204 for me. Wondering if it's worth it to get the more expensive models instead. Anyone know the difference between the $240 and the $252 models? Looks about the same but $12 difference in price.

Was interested, until I read some of the reviews about that brand. Pass

I'm seeing the same price now it was $193 earlier. I guess snooze you lose.. makes it harder to decide between that or the $252 one

I'm sure there's a noticeable difference going to the high end of the residential model range, if you have bigger jobs that you'll do every couple years it might be worth the extra $$.. Another tip on cleaning driveways and patios- if it is a shaded area and it is mostly moss/algae then hitting it with wet and forget spray and then power washing a week or two later can help make the job faster.

Ordered the Simpson 3100 for $191 for local pickup (stated they had 1 in stock) and about 20 mins later I get a notification that they are out but should have more in Nov 16th. Canceled and ordered another one at a different store that says they have 3 in stock and now having it shipped for free. The price did go up to $203.99

Grabbed the 4000 PSI 3.5 GPM one that I have been eyeing for awhile. Just didn't expect to get it from tractor supply! Great price at $569
