If you have nothing keeping you on (like bill credits), port out to Tello, then port back in. I've done this a couple times with good results.

Believe you would need to port out for 90 days and then come back as a new customer.

Port-in Verizon numbers can be obtained for $10 from Tracfone. Details are in this thread.

I'd love to do this deal and give the phones to my kids for Christmas- is it possible to have the phones shipped to us- then port over our numbers on Christmas Day?

I am afraid the deal won't be around at Christmas time!

Looks like this is only for trade in and not without it. Tried signing up and if I skip trade in then it is charging me $35/month

I have had T Mobile for over 10 years but I am thinking of switching back to Verizon. They have the best coverage by far. I travel a lot and T Mobile is not as good as Verizon. TOo bad because Verizon is a little more expensive but probably worth it - even in the NYC area.

I have T-mobile now, but this offer looks good to me. How can I make use of it? Can we port the number to a different network for few days and then port to T-mobile? Please help and thank you 🙏🏼
No, if T-Mobile isn't willing to give you this deal then leave. Unless you already have a good plan.

I have never seen a deal like this. Any links, even if the deal is expired? Thanks

Just a heads up, essentials plan is really bad. They deprioritize you just like prepaid and they offer no hotspot sharing at all. You're better off going with us mobile $25 plan and getting the phone directly from Apple. You'll still save money.

Not sure if this is already shared, but the deal is sweeter at Costco. The $35/line activation fee is waived, plus you get a $150 per line Costco GC.

I have always wondered and I hope someone can answer for me here:

Is it best to change carriers every year or 2? Get a new phone and new rates and switch?
