If you have nothing keeping you on (like bill credits), port out to Tello, then port back in. I've done this a couple times with good results.

Believe you would need to port out for 90 days and then come back as a new customer.

You can always wait for the Google Fi deal for unlimited at ~$12.50 if you port in four lines. $50 for four lines of unlimited everything, 50GB high speed prioritized, 25GB hotspot is crazy

Sharing my experience about ordering this at Costco store kiosk:1. Went to a Costco store with T mobile kiosk (store listed at bottom of this page https://www.costco.com/t-mobile-b...wcase.html)2. Talked to CSR about porting from Xfinity to this 4-for-$100 and free iphone17 promotion.3. CSR asked for Costco membership card and driver license to start ordering process.4. To waive activation fee, CSR stated I need to order an accessory or device protection plan, so I purchased a $20 Apple charger head USB-C 20W. Total comes out to be: sales tax for the 4 phones + $20 charger. $75 GC per line activation seems to qualify for this promo, I didn't ask specifically.5. CSR ordered four phones with new temporary numbers and gave four physical SIM cards to me. Phone will be shipped to the house (estimate one week) then I can bring it back with SIM card to activate and they will help with porting the number from xfinity.6. Gave bank checking account / routing number to setup as auto-payment. Also email info so document can be sent and signed electronically. Took about 30minutes and overall a pleasant experience.7. After shopping at Costco, went home and followed instruction from multiple TMobile emails to sign the agreement, create online account, etc; all the transaction and phone info are listed in TMobile site clearly. I believe only after signing the agreement, then the phone will be shipped. I'm still waiting on shipping/tracking confirmation, but since it's the weekend, maybe it will be processed on Monday.will update later if anything changes.
For the $75 GC, it says needs to be $85/month. I assume they is for each line which these are not. Has anyone actually get the GC successfully from this 4/$100 deal?$75 Member Benefit Costco Digital Shop Card: In participating Warehouse locations or Costco.com. Subject to change. Tax on pre-credit price due at sale. Qualifying credit and qualifying line ($85+/mo. plan w/AutoPay) require.

So, I'm starting to think that phone number check on the T-Mobile site doesn't necessarily show whether or not you qualify for the deal, but rather that your number qualifies for porting.

My brother had 4 lines on a AT&T MVNO (Consumer Cellular), and the automated number checker said all were good. He proceeded to sign up for the deal. Because he had a fraud alert on his credit that he had forgotten about, he ended up having to go into the store to complete the transaction. He double- and triple-checked with everyone at the store about whether he qualified or not. They of course said, "Oh no problem. But the only way we'll know for sure is for you to port." He proceeded to sign up and they ordered the phones.

Fast forward a few days to when the ordered phones arrived at the store. Long story short, at that point the reps told him "We've been on the phone with corporate for hours trying to get you this deal. Turns out you don't qualify." Roll Eyes (Sarcastic)

Fortunately for him, he was able to roll back all the changes and stay with his current carrier. Would have been unfortunate to find out later that he was on the hook for paying for all four phones.
Is it because Consumer Cellular is not owned by AT&T?

I wish I knew. I cannot tell if it's ownership vs what carrier is supplying the actual network service, as is the case with most MVNOs. I plugged in several coworkers' numbers to the T-Mobile number authenticator, and someone with Mint (T-Mobile owned MVNO, T-Mobile network) was "accepted", and another coworker on T-Mobile proper was "not accepted".

Bottom line: don't rely on the number authenticator to be your sole source for determining if you get the deal or not. I suspect in a couple of months when the bill credits are supposed to start showing up, there will be some folks pretty upset that T-Mobile found a way to screw them. Hopefully I'm wrong.

I have T-mobile now, but this offer looks good to me. How can I make use of it? Can we port the number to a different network for few days and then port to T-mobile? Please help and thank you 🙏🏼
Port to Google Voice, then you can carrier hop all you want without losing or porting again.

I just left T-Mobile for Verizon. Been with them probably 10 years and was tired of never getting deals on phones. Granted I was on the Military Magenta plan, but I got 2 iPhone 17s and 3 S25s free and my bill is the same. I'll shop around in a couple of years when we need/want new phones again. Lol

I just ported 2 lines to t-mobile prepaid couple of months back. Spoke to a T-Mobile rep in Costco and he said I can switch to Verizon or AT&T and come back in a day to be eligible for this offer along with 2 more lines. Is that true? I see some comments here that I should be out of T-Mobile for 90 days to be eligible. Should I believe the Costco rep and go for it? Please advise if anyone has similar experience

For google fi users to port out to visible or cricket first then to port in to T-Mobile: does T-Mobile count google fi as t mobile then it has to stay at cricket or visible for 90 days before qualify? Thanks!
I asked this to Gemini and ChatGPT, both researched past deals and said t mobile treats googl fi like t mobile and I will need to wait 90 days.

How do they make money on this? 4x iphone 17s are $3200, and $100/m x 24 months is only $2400. Even if they get a discount on the phones from apple, the margin seems pretty slim to me.
