If you have nothing keeping you on (like bill credits), port out to Tello, then port back in. I've done this a couple times with good results.

Believe you would need to port out for 90 days and then come back as a new customer.

You can always wait for the Google Fi deal for unlimited at ~$12.50 if you port in four lines. $50 for four lines of unlimited everything, 50GB high speed prioritized, 25GB hotspot is crazy

True but what do you do after 12 months when googl fi deal is over? I am with fi now and love it but don't want to pay more once this ends

Why is this plan deal better than the four iPhone 17 pros from Verizon for 100 a month for three years

This magically DIDN'T stay "locked in as long as you stay" and turned into $110/mo for me when I had exactly that, had been with T-Mobile for like 12 years and had just had enough with the constant lies, along with all of the constant data breaches.

Ironically I went to Mint Mobile, which is still T-Mobile really, and just pay the $15/mo unlimited with no bells and whistles, but since United Airlines is going to free Starlink (no need for the T-Mobile inflight WiFi bonus), and the cost savings per month make up way more than things like "Netflix on us", there was just no point anymore, and I'll deal with the deprioritized data which is a little annoying at times, but ultimately, my life isn't greatly affected by it.
Yup, I'm on Tello now and my wife is on Mint, we had a great "guaranteed" rate with T-mobile which they screwed us out of. But now we're paying so much less, so thanks Tmo I guess?

I see advantages with both deals...
T-Mobile: 2-year commitment instead of 3, plan includes 50GB premium data and unlimited 3G hotspot
Verizon: iPhone 17 Pro or Samsung instead of iPhone 17, $300 Verizon gift card (if still available), better network for rural coverage

I'm locked into an AT&T 3-year contract with an iPhone 16. Are there any ways to get out of it and switch to another carrier? Do any carriers have offers to pay for the remaining payments on existing phones?
what is the point you get locked into a new Carrier for another 3 years. Best to stay and get out and sell the phones

If Verizon is good where you live, they have a slightly better deal. 4 lines for $25 each and each line gets a free iPhone 17 pro. And it's only $10 extra a month to add hotspot. Of course your deprioritized so if Verizon is congested you're going to feel it.

I see Verizon is making Tmobile sweat. Love how they forced a friend of mine to leave over a $90 plan to a $120 plan change (with no new phones) but now is trying to get people back with a better offer with phone included.
I am leaving T-Mobile to Verizon tomorrow after 20 years with them.T-Mobile pissed me off, called them since October 4 times, first time they didn't do what I and asked and cancelled a voice line over home internet, then I called right after and they suspended home internet. Suspended but kept charging me full price for it. Then I called again and they cancelled the home internet, note that every time i was billed midcycle 58$ charges. 20 years paid them. They suck, don't stay attached to the same company, they don't value that

I left T-Mobile after 18+ years to join Verizon now. T-Mobile don't care about loyal customers no more so it's there lost! With the same rate plan I got Verizon 17 pros 4 of them for FREE with $100 plus fees plan!

For the Verizon or T-Mobile deal, do you have to pay taxes for the phones?

Maybe a silly question but is there any way that I can port in mint mobile services and still get this deal?

Just make sure you're prepared for the actual cost of your bill. I recently came in under the same deal with the Insider 20% off discount. You're going to be paying $215 per month for 4 lines on Experience Beyond with the 3rd line free. You're then going to get 20% off that so you're looking at about $172 per month + $20 in taxes and fees if not more. So realistically $192 per month or $48 per line before deducting for any gift cards or other offers you may be including in the price per line you mentioned. Plus you have to factor in the additional $16 (or more) you'll be paying per month for the difference in price of the 4x iPhone Pro's unless you paid the difference upfront as a down deposit. So potentially $208 per month in realistic bill total (plan + taxes/fees + remaining installment balance).
How do you obtain the 20% discount?
