Bulls just dropped a stellar deal on their Bosch Copperhead Evo HD 750 Bosch Bike. Was $4499 Now $1999. This uses the new Bosch Smarts System and had front suspension. This might just be the best Black Friday deal on an eBike I've seen yet!

The Bulls Copperhead Evo HD 750 is a Bosch Class 1 hardtail e mountain bike built for climbing, range, and all around trail use. The Bosch CX Smart motor is rated at 85 newton meters, and the 750 watt hour battery is described as huge for long rides. The setup also gets praise for a good motor, an air fork, and a better derailleur, with Bosch service support available through a broad dealer network. The main caveat is fit and use case, since the mountain bike geometry and wide bars can feel aggressive on long rides, and Class 1 assistance tops out at 20 miles per hour.

Plus, since this bike is Class 1, you can't just lean completely on the throttle, and even perfunctory pedaling adds up to a lot of additional range. This ebike will have the highest range you can get from an ebike, especially if you swap the tires out for slick road tires.
On the other hand, if you plan on riding this bike on any trail harder than a gravel road, I strongly recommend replacing the front tire with something that has actual tread. You can save that tire and use it to replace the rear when it wears out.
(It's much more important to have tread on the front than the rear. If you spin the rear, you might have to put a foot down. If you wash out the front, you're very likely to crash.)
The bigger issue with a MTB is the bar width. Wide arm placement puts stress on different areas. Comfort comes when your hands are shoulder width apart.
It's not the cost of the bike, it's the fitment.
Specs I would like....
750w continuos/1500peak motor,
at leas 12Ah or 15AH battery,
normal hybrid tires, mtb tires are fine, but no wider than 2.2", 26 to 27.5" diameter.
Bike to weigh under 58lbs,
Support about 300# gear and rider,
Solid torque/30-35degree slope,
Front lockout shocks,
good for 6'3" height,
Aluminum frame preferred, 7 or so speed.
Let me know when you see one please!
