Nice Find! Just keep in mind, Typically, Apple offers around 6 years of major software upgrades Since this released 5 years ago, it may be good for 1 or 2 more years of major software upgrades.

How is this not a repeat? It's actually 2 weeks old. https://slickdeals.net/f/18721993-straight-talk-64gb-apple-iphone-12-mini-black-3-months-service-120-free-shipping?sort=oldest&page=1#commentsHeader

Because that one did expire 10/31 and now they apparently started a new promo until 12/31 (while supply lasts). Not sure if I could simply have posted "reactivate the post"? New promo dates, so new thread or not?

Older "I"-Phone. Has quite a few cons.

No MicroSD card, so you're stuck with a paltry 64gb of storage (around a third of which the OS requires). No consumer changeable battery. No headphone jack. Uses non-standard and discontinued "Lightning" connector (instead of industry standard USB-"C").

Real world usage: the battery is actually pretty small, similarly to the device itself. Depending on usage, you may find that even with light/casual use, the device doesn't last an entire day. Compare this to budget 6.5" "Androids", which can easily last 3+ days with very light use. And many of those still have MicroSD card slots + headphone jacks.

Thanks OP. Was looking for mini phone and this came in clutch. In for 1.

Previously had both minis but sold them which was a mistake.

I have a 16 pro and have a pretty strong urge to go back to a 12 mini. I gave mine to my wife a year after getting it and regretted going to a larger phone. Battery was the weak point, but oh that size was perfect.

It's funny how many of us seem to have regrets about giving up on these smaller phones earlier. I am sporting a 17 now but boy I never should have sold my blue 13 mini a few years ago. With Apple now supposedly having misread the market and nobody wanting their AIR phone maybe that will go on sale, but come on, Apple, you probably sold more mini than the stupid Air. Bring the MINI back...

Yes, I had the 12 and 13 mini, the 13 battery was much better. Never never never should have given up on these. So nice in the front pocket.

Still holding on to my 13 mini even though the battery had worn down. Have to keep a battery bank on me always, worth it!

Why not go to apple and get the battery replaced for $89?

I have 15 pro as we speak and ordered this one to replace my pro. Pro was a mistake, tried to get the smallest from that year, but 135g vs 188g makes a big difference.
will probably sell 15 pro and pickup iPad mini for anything else that is not a phone job (all the necessities on 12 mini except doom scrolling and youtube).
