New TV go crash, now have scratch. What to do?

I had a new TV ready to be attached to a stand, and unfortunately knocked it over in the middle of the night. Crash. Boom. Now there's a 3" scratch on the bottom of the screen. Crying

Is there any way to repair it or should I just resell it at a loss and get another new one? Only paid $100 a year ago.

Depends on the TV. Smaller screens are easier to resell.

I don't think there is any way to repair a scratch, these screens have a very delicate surface, and any attempt to fill the scratch will leave a residue, though I know car body shops could do an amazing job on a clearcoat. Anyway, it's not feasible to hire a specialist to fix a $100 TV. Sell it and buy yourselves a new TV, good sales are coming.

Obviously it was damaged during shipping. Do you still have the receipt? Bring it back to best buy for a refund.

Right before the pandemic began in 2020, I bought a 33" LG TV from Best Buy. I then bought a 33" Fire TV on Amazon last year. Both were $100.

People need to stop waiting for Black Friday and New Years to buy things they need. I picked up a reversible plush and sherpa twin blanket on Amazon for $11 last month. woot

I have a reversible blanket too! Actually, all of my bedding and clothing is reversible! Most just looks funny if you use or wear them inside out.
