Nice, thanks OP. I've been using a Rigid cordless for years but this looks like a great upgrade for essentially the price of the battery alone. Stack it with Lowe's gift card deals and it gets even better.

Ego vac filters down to 0.5 micron. A 0.5-micron filter just stops particles larger than 0.5, letting ultrafine dust pass right through. A 0.3-micron HEPA filter is rated for that specific size because it's the hardest to catch. Counterintuitively, particles smaller than that move erratically, making them more likely to collide and stick to the filter fibers, which is why it's so effective on ultrafine dust.

Thanks. I don't need this, since I have a working craftsman unit. But so very much want it because I have ego tools, and can add to my battery collection.

Oh wow, that's an incredible price, considering the included battery. Very tempted to hold out for the next generation, but it'll be years before it drops to a price I'd pay.

I bought this yesterday at this price before it posted on here thinking it was a crazy good deal. Anyone know of a flexible fabric hose like the Festool that will work with this? Seems like the hose it comes with isn't very flexible.

Good deal if you really want it. Also a good deal if you really need a 5.0ah battery.

However, the unit itself looks very heavy, bulky, and not that strong.
