Best price I've ever seen on this CPU. I actually already bought one Oct 22 when it was $300.
But since this was within the 30 day price protection period, thanks to the this posting I was able to contact customer service and get a $20 credit back, bringing the pre-tax price down to $265 in my case.
This is why I enjoy the slickdeals community.

Picked up the 7800x3d at the historical lowest of $279 last week, and these came now. Should I return that? Seems this is also the historical lowest for 9800x3d

Is the 8% gain for a $120 difference versus a 7800x3D worth it? Probably not

Will people still get this anyway, because they generally want to get the best possible parts? Probably
