Bad times. Since when an R7/16/1TB/5070 is a good deal at $1400? I guess it's the tariffs. The 18" format is not worth it, I'd rather buy a desktop.

Another opinion - Buyer beware, ASUS used to be reputable but their customer service and warranty experience tanked in the last couple of yrs. I used to be an ASUS fan and still have a ROG laptop from 2012 that can handle some modern games. Do your research before buying, hoping ASUS changed their ways.

The whole point of this product is its size. The one you've linked is 15.1" whereas this is 18". The two are not comparable.

If size is a priority yes. If hardware is a priority and screen size doesn't matter then no. Simply a humble opinion.
