Double check before you do it. Got a thing in the mail saying "Get a $250 Gift Card With Approval". Only gave $60. Rude customer service person keeps repeating "It says get UP to a $250 gift card" which is not true.

too bad...does this mean even if they approve card later on the gc may not get issued?
i thought they would just approve and bam gc would be in account...at least that's what i've seen other people say in previous years.

Non Prime account only has $60 upon approval. My wife account only show $60. Once the Prime Trial started, it showed $250. I applied for her and got $250 as well.

You can start Prime trial then apply. As long as you cancel it before trial expires, you will be just fine. It also has monthly plan.

My daughter applied and got approved on the spot. The $250 is deposited into her gift card account in 1 minute. That's a pretty fast process.

It will have an unique referral link here [amazon.com] where shows the $250 offer if you have a Prime Visa with an Amazon Prime account. The applicant will receive $250 and you will receive $50 upon approval. I had my spouse apply via my referral link and we received $250 + $50 GCs.

Gotta be different Amazon account. I tried with mine but it recognized as myself after logging in and said that I've already applied for the card. So I logged into my wife's and started the trial, then apply for her. She got approved and I have another $50.
