I would have copped but it's a verizon phone that's unlocked... No bootloader unlock

If you want to be able to easily install whatever apps you want without Google going full dictator on developers next year on side loading, bootloader unlocking is highly valued.

When you unlock a bootloader, you can easily "root" it, which allows more control over your phone. You also can install custom roms such as "de-googled" roms based on the OS you have such as LineageOS, AOSP, etc "Think it like Windows 10 VS Windows 11"


These de-googled roms will limit Google services such as play store etc, but allows you to install whatever the hell you want like it is the phone you paid for.

With these open source roms, Google can't restrict you from apps they didn't "verify safety" on (which actually means using safety as an excuse to not approve apps that they don't like or that looses them profit).

Sorry for the tangent, I'm passionate about phones.

Released in 2023 - I don't see why warranty wouldn't cover battery. Also seller provides Allstate 1 year warranty with purchase.

I assume it it's just Verizon unblocked I can't flash lineageos on it? Been looking to get a fold, and why to use it for a long time.
