The main differences between the Kindle Paperwhite and the Kindle Paperwhite Signature are:

- 16GB ***vs*** 32GB of storage
- Cable-only charging ***vs*** cable and wireless charging (not a big deal imo given the battery life is so long)
- Manual brightness only ***vs*** auto-adjusting front light
- Ad lockscreen ***vs*** ad-free lock screen (you can pay to remove ads from the Kindle Paperwhite for a $20 one time fee)

Great deal - I was able to pick one up for $17.84. I did the 20% trade in on an old iPad and got $85 for my iPad, 20% off was $25.40, and 5% cash back on my prime card was $6.73. Total price out the door was $17.84.

Like new means refurbished. It's hard to pay this price for a used device. Will the new ones drop close to this price point on Black Friday?

Is this feature only in the signature edition? I thought it was in all the paperwhites?

So is wireless charging. I've had too many bad cables or ends break off in a device to ever use a plug-in charger for anything but emergencies.

Has anyone compared Kindles to TCL NXTPAPER tablets in terms of eye strain? Which device is better for reducing eye fatigue, or are they similar in this regard?
