You aren't kidding. I scored 32GB for ~$36 after AMEX 30% off about 6 weeks ago. It went on back order after I purchased. Waiting 6 weeks for it to be delivered while RAM prices were going up near every day was nerve wracking. Would have cost me at least 3x more if Amazon didn't come through in the end.

The only real limitation going with a B450 (vs B5x0) board with a 5500 is the 2nd slot is limited to PCIe 2.0. In this case, at least you get an x4 slot which is faster than an 3.0 x1 slot. This board's expansion options are very limited otherwise.
