I got this because i Bought my last maintainer from craftsman about 15 years ago. It was a diehard that finally died after a long service. I thought this would be of the same quality but it never worked correctly on any of the 3 vehicles I tried it on. It never once went into maintainer mode and I could feel my batteries getting hot. Not wanting to distroy my $325 battery on the vehicle it was purchaced for, I am returning this for a product that is safe and will do the job. The craftsman is not safe and will damage your battery and even cause a fire for the people who do not understand. Consumer protection should be informed about this fire hazzard
Avoid the new craftsman because even though it has the name it no longer has the same quality.
