Is this a good one, can someone please share some experiences?
It's been this price since June at $49.98. They listed it as a "new lower price", but now they've relabeled it as "clearance" this past week. They haven't restocked most of the Husky Build-Out in the U.S., they've already removed space for certain Build-Out items (like the dolly, small drawer, backpack, and other accessories), and they've only been restocking in Canada this year. The consensus is that this is a line that they are removing from Home Depot to make room for Makita Maktrak in the U.S. Buying into this ecosystem at this point may leave you with no options to upgrade or add to this system after 2025.

Thank you so much for the information. Quick question what would you recommend for a DIYer?
They're cancelling this system -- great if you want to get random pieces on the cheap, not so great for future longevity. You won't have any upgrade or replacement options. Forget about any "Husky Lifetime Warranty".
With systems like these, it's best to run with the "big dogs" -- Ridgid (budget) and Milwaukee (premium). They've been around for the longest, with the most options. I can't speak anything good about DeWalt -- they've been around a long time too, but with so many variations. No idea what's compatible with what.
I have the 2 drawer, 1 large box and 2 small box. I also added a table top for extra workspace (used the husky rolling tool box wood top and had some 3d printed adapters so it works with the locking system. Good quality sets but they are all covered in a layer of dust. Seems to be on the way out so either buy all the ones you want now or you may not be able to find them later. I am liking them tho.

i have 3 of these build out drawers and 2 tool boxes. i recommned these if you plan to leave them in one place. tthey are good for the price - build out is way better than my dewalt tstak/craftsman versastack boxes except tstak is better for mobility. i use the build out drawers more though and build out latches are much nicer & easier to use. however i do like the tool holders in the tstak bins,
my minor complaints are build out system is 22" inches wide but the design wastes space -so the drawers are 16" wide and the vertical height is also at least 3-4" more than whats useable. thats more of a problem with this specific piece, and you can fit smaller power tools in the drawer no problem, but i bought 2 build out tool boxes to store my sawzall and bandsaw. the dolly is sold out so i attached a cabinet door to a 12x18 dolly and it works perfect. not sure i would want to move these around to job sites, t/he plastic drawer inserts are meh, stuff gets under the dividers just opening and closing them normally. an adhesive would solve that but create other issues. also you really have to buy like 3 or 4 of these becasue its not flat on top - although tstak is the perfect size to sit in the open space on top perfectly.
if i had to choose one, i would be torn because i like them for different reasons, but id probaly take the build out. note: you can get the versastack rolling tool chest for $50 and bins for $20 right now.

As others have already said, it appears this lineup is going away. I have the roller, two boxes and two trays from this system and they have been great for the money. I got my set all on clearance pricing over the summer and have used these for the last 4ish months. It's a good, durable system. I'm also in the team red Packout system with the rolling drawer for reference and this is a better system FOR THE MONEY. The Milwaukee system has so many options and that's great, but you can pickup the roller, box and a tray for about $125 on clearance. That will get you single 2-draw (without wheels) from team red.

I got total 16 of this. The price is more reasonable at $50, but still a little over price. But definitely, in terms of price, better than Milwaukee, dewalt, flex and any other.
I agree that the size and design is not effective/efficient at all compare to DeWalt tough system, Milwaukee packout, flex and Klein. I have all these systems.
This Husky drawers' net space and dimension are smaller than any of the ones. I measured it. The Husky one only has 16' wide, MK, flex and Klein all have around 16.75". DeWalt has the widest at 17...
Having said that, it is not as usable as others, but from a "portable" and modular perspective, it is decent. It is hard to put anything larger in it, like circuit saw or even sawzall needs to take out battery and put diagonally..
It is not very good for tools storage, I find it more usable for parts storage, like EMT fittings, screws and other smaller stuff. I feel that it is more for garage storage than actual portable to job site.

Another option, is this Ryobi Link 2 drawer box at Direct Tools Outlet, $66 today. A bit smaller outside, but drawers are a decent size. Prices change daily at DIrect Tools, but this box gets down to this range pretty often. Not a great deal, but pretty competitive, worth considering. Shipping is a flat $15/order (there is a link to sign up for emails and get a free shipping code). I have a couple of these boxes, solid except the the drawer locking mechanism engages a little too easily. I don't see the Link line of products going away any time soon. Other variant available but not really on sale right now. Also got a 3 drawer version when they were on sale. https://www.directtoolsoutlet.com...cts/stm301

AFAIK, the Husky and Ridgid stuff does not interlock with eachother.

Thx. Hopefully the husky drawer dimensions would fit the Ridgid dolly, since I don't want to pay $100 for the Ridgid drawer box.
