imagine Skyrim where you could literally ask a NPC directions to a place, and the AI like intelligence could roleplay the person and give you an answer that makes sense on instructions on how to get there. that's something that should be in video games in the future and it would require the card to be able to run AI.
actually let me soapbox on this entire thing, whenever we were trying to figure out how to simulate gradually accumulating damage at the start of 8 pixel video games, we needed to assign everything like Health these things called hit points. a percentage to attempt to indicate how the real world works. nowadays we have the technical ability to actually simulate how it works without applying it hit points, and yet people would rather just keep on applying hit points than do so. I can think of a thousand reasons to have insane vram for all of the simulations you can run and create an absolutely incredible game.
