I have this. No complaints I just wish I got the 7 tier one due to the amount I have. This rack is sturdy and has adjustable feet if I remember. I store the filement in their bags and they still fit on this rack.

Genuine question/not being snarky or threadcrapping: are these primarily for use in places with drier climates? I generally have to keep my filament spools in sealed dry boxes (at least during spring/summer) to prevent them from soaking up the moisture & humidity. I'm in the Midwest, myself, so maybe the rack solution just isn't for me, but I was just curious.

Genuine question/not being snarky or threadcrapping: are these primarily for use in places with drier climates? I generally have to keep my filament spools in sealed dry boxes (at least during spring/summer) to prevent them from soaking up the moisture & humidity. I think it is situational. I have no issues and I'm in the Midwest. My filament is exposed in my basement.

Same, it's a non-starter for petg, no chance. even my PLA oozes way more if I don't dehydrate it immediately before printing

Depends, Midwest as well. Personally I use bags with silica, but my community maker space stores PLA and PETG spools on the rack - RH 25-35% with only an air purifier close. So spools are exposed to the dust. You can buy smaller racks with dust covers.

Interesting! Do you not have problems with them absorbing moisture? I've often found that even just individual spools that I accidentally leave out on my printer's spool holder tend to end up needing dried out, so that's why I ask. Smilie

Definitely situational though I guess; I suppose even someone in a super humid climate could have a great dehumidifier/have a really well-sealed home, etc. and be fine with leaving them out.

Nope. I do not leave PETG out, that is in bags on the racks. Never had an issue with PLA though.

FWIW I agree seems sketch to leave filament out in the open (in humid NC at least( however the Vevor table and rack is pretty neat concept. Wonder how much it vibrates though, my Adventurer 5M can still move a sturdy wooden stand at full speed and this looks pretty lightweight in comparison.

Will this rack fit filament in their box packaging? I keep my opened filament in air tight tubs and unopened filament on a shelf.

There shouldnt be a problem if you keep it in the bag and dry the spool right before use. I always print out of a dryer with PETG especially.

This is a solution for print farms with high rate turnover of rolls, not for individuals doing hobby printing, which might keep a roll open for months. Rolls will get dusty and humid. Do not even think of leaving PETG unprotected like this, PLA not so much, but still problematic.
Avoid.
