"Body can be washed by hand" is right. If you're lazy like us and put it in the dishwasher anyway, the paint will peel. I recommend just buying one that lets you just put it in the dishwasher. Not downvoting. Just saying…

I switched from coated/painted to stainless and it's been worth it for sure.

the cap is dishwasher safe and I would recommend doing it, there's no way your going to be able to clean the deep small parts. there's another color also on sale for the same price - Oatmilk. The stainless steel one is available for $25.

This is a great travel mug. Much improved over previous versions. This is the same as the Westloop 3 travel mugs. Great price!

Yes. I've had my West Loop since 2015 and it was once black but is basically stainless now. Unfortunately the lid has a slight leak in it so I'll probably replace it soon.
