Sad to say this is new norm. Primarily this site is to make money for the site. This is not a member first community. Fatwallet at the end made the same mistake.
Maybe the point many are making is Slickdeals started out as a community, posting real discounts, but has turned into a product promoted jungle. Browsing over the muck to find the real slickdeals is a little harder than it used to be.
The Jackery Explorer 300 is a compact portable power station best suited for keeping small electronics and lights running when outlets are unavailable. It has been used for phones, laptops, bike lights, an e bike top off, a CPAP with an adapter, LED and construction lights, and even as a home UPS for internet, TV, and lights during outages. It should handle most electronics, though not a desktop PC or space heater, and the 293Wh capacity may feel limited for longer runs. The lack of USB C output is a notable omission, and the battery performance drew a blunt complaint. A practical backup for light to moderate power needs.
home users who want a small backup power station for outages because one owner said it kept the internet/TV/lights running when the power was out.
people who need off-outlet charging for short periods because one commenter used it to charge phones and a laptop away from outlets for peace of mind during brief power outages.
travelers doing long car trips who can't keep an iPad Pro charged from a car charger because one commenter said a car charger couldn't keep their iPad Pro up while driving and they plan to try this (or similar) instead.
soccer teams or anyone running low-power LED lighting at outdoor fields without nearby outlets because a commenter described using it to power LED/construction lights on a tripod for year-round soccer at dusk when there are no outlets.
aquarium owners who only need low-wattage backup for a few days because a commenter said it could likely run low wattage aquarium heaters/filters for a few days.
people expecting it to run high-draw appliances like a desktop PC or a space heater because one commenter said this smaller unit would probably be fine for most electronics but likely not a desktop PC or space heater.
buyers who specifically want USB-C output because one commenter called out that this model lacks USB-C output and questioned whether it's an old model.
buyers who are sensitive to battery performance because one commenter bluntly said "Battery sucks," implying poor battery quality/performance for them.
It can keep internet, TV, and lights running during outages, and it has been used for bike lights, topping off an e-bike, LED/construction lights, and low-watt aquarium heaters and filters. It is best suited to modest loads rather than heavy appliances.
Yes for small electronics: it can charge phones and laptops, and it can run a CPAP with an adapter for a night. It should handle most electronics, but not high-draw loads like a desktop PC or space heater.
Slickdeals was founded in 1999.[1][7]

Don't know about others, but I'm going to try this or similar in my car for long trips. I just drove to and from Vegas from east coast and could not keep my ipad pro charged while driving. Unless I put the screen brightness down so low I could barely see it. It's using the cell gps for waze, so it think it puts extra burden on the battery. No matter what cig lighter charger I get, it can't keep up with the battery drain. Plus it should work well with my Satechi charger. Also, some hotels have crappy wall plugs, so this could charge my stuff right when I walk in without issues. (Yes, i stay in some dumpy hotels sometimes). In addition, these things just look cool, not gonna lie.
So I will look for one in the $100-$125 range over Black Friday.

This is not normal use case, but..
We play soccer year-round, and we found LED lights. Construction lights on a tripod, so that the team can play at dusk/when it gets darker. The place we play is a public field, and has no outlets that we can use, so this is pretty awesome (I do not own this, I just know the guy who does)

At this point its harder to find a real deal here than it is in the real world.
Where do people use these portable power supplies? They seem to be an idea gone wrong judging by the amount of deals posted for them lately. It's Slickdeal season......help me make this thing fit into my life. Lol
Not only has this site changed but the community as well. Some were never here during the peak years where price mistakes, coupon errors and rebates galore were frequent.
There was a deal on some random item due to a price mistake and a few posters were saying that it was unethical and akin to stealing. Lol.
I guess some are content with the 10% off affiliate deals. Feeds their consumerism. 😬
The site has changed significantly in the last 20 years. My activity here predates my account creation as I only created an account for The Podium
I have one of these and mostly have just used it to charge phones or a laptop when away from an outlet. It's good peace of mind for charging those if the power goes out briefly. Ive also used it to charge my bike lights / top off my e bike, and have an adapter to run my wife's CPAP if the power were to go out for a night. I'd recommend going bigger unless portability is very important in your use case.
Aquariums for tropical fish. Low wattage heaters and filters. Can probably get through a few days.

I was wondering.
I was wondering.
If you watch the video you will see the 90w wall charger, although it also shows a solar panel too.
But it will come with a wall charger.
