Thanks. I thought ceramic coatings can withstand metal utensils though. I personally use iron wok and stainless steel pans most often and use nonstick pots/pans only for heating things up instead of serious cooking. I typically leave my cookware piled on the stoves and I like the idea of repurposing the cookware as plates/bowls with handles detached, so they help declutter my kitchen when I am not cooking with them. I have placed an order to find out if they suit my needs. BTW, this seems to have been on Walmart only since 10/25/2025 and the price has always been $49.99 since then, the ones from the same brand but doesn't have detachable handles are selling at the same price on Amazon and have been cheaper. But anyway, I guess this is just regular price and the original price is a scammer. Carote's website doesn't seem to be fully functionable yet.
Edit: I have found presumably the same item sold on JD.com as after all this is a Chinese brand. The price is only ¥186 over there, that is about $26.13, so it's being sold for about 2x the price in America. In general it uses rather thin aluminum for the core so it can deform when it meets cold water while it is still hot and its coating can wear out relatively easily.

According to CamelCamelCamel, the 19pcs set was $60 09/15/2025. Can anyone share if this is good cookware?

I personally owned the regular pan in 2 sizes. Just your typical pan as long as you don't go scrapping it with metal utensils it will last.

Purchased and it was delivered today. I made a big chicken pot pie with the 10" frying pan and cooked it up in my toaster oven. Turned out great and the pie did, in fact, slide around the pan perfectly.

From what I've read, these are susceptible to scratching. So if I take care of them (using the protective pads and the silicon tools), they'll be easy to clean and great to cook with.

We had the same issue. Pans went through the dishwasher once and the aluminum oxidized. Black marks everywhere. We returned it after several attempts at cleaning it.

Ours work okay but they are not perfectly flat on the bottom. We're just kind of annoying. And has a minor impact on how well they work on induction

As new like anything else it's non stick to whatever you throw at it. After a few months of being ultra careful, wooden utensils, rubber spatulas, mild soap non abrasive hand wash, non-stick didn't last long. Also be careful with washing the removable handles. Inside is metal and rusts easily.

I have received these pans and pots. So far they have done a good job in making burgers and potstickers just like my old nonstick cookware with Teflon coating. The aluminum core is actually thicker than I expected after reading the comments from JD.com but still the center of the bottom can be a little bit higher than the rim so oil might flow to the sides. I will keep them and monitor how well they last.

Don't heat the pan too hot or fast or it will burn the coating.
