Have had these (just the carry-on and the large one) for a couple years now. Here are my thoughts:
- Very durable. Have banged these around airports and rental cars internationally, they still look and work as new.
- Not a lot of niceties. These are basic bags for travelers, and don't have a million pockets or dividers or the like. That's what I want out of suitcases, but compared to some other luxury brands, they are a little spartan.
- The blue color is extremely common. I bought blue because I like it and I figured it would stand out in a crowd of black. But on my last flight, there were 4 of the large blue Omni 2 on the baggage carousel at the airport. I resolved this by putting a permanent neon orange luggage tag on mine, but be especially careful to check the tags before you leave the airport.
- I bought mine from Amazon Warehouse in "Acceptable" condition because they were a good deal at the time. YMMV of course, but mine arrived looking and working like new, and I saved something like $40 on the pair.
All in all this seems like a good deal, but I hope this helps you know what you're getting into! Happy traveling!
In Vegas had a guy accidentally grab mine. Thankfully his luggage was still on the carousel and it looked slightly similar to mine. Not sure how he didn't notice, but he had his name and number on the luggage tag. He was already on his way to pick up his rental car, so we swapped bags at our hotel later.
