This is a very good price I would just caution that the integrated graphics on this are pretty bad (2 CUs) even compared to some bargain basement machines. So discard any hopes you might have of gaming, even at the lowest of low settings.

How is the picture and processor for streaming movies and videos? I am not a gamer.

it's a full HD (1080p) IPS panel which is about as good as you can expect in this price range. The panel is not very bright though (250 nits).

I would say the panel is average for the price. I have seen worse in this price range, for example at least it's not 720p or a TN panel.

The chip is only a quad core CPU which is pretty weak, however keep in mind that streaming video uses special video decoding units on the SoC and not the CPU so it will stream video just fine anyway.

Thanks. What min specs should I look for if I want movies streamed to look bright, smooth, and well saturated say to deliver an 8 out of 10 scale?

Could this be a good laptop for student use for next 10 years? Assuming the student will learn some basic coding and AI stuff. Thanks ahead for time and help.

In terms of super cheap computers for basic productivity tasks I think this is a good deal.

But it will not last you 10 years. The hardware architecture in here is already 6 years old (why it's so cheap). Personally I think the best computer for students is a MacBook. Yes, even getting an older model will set you back quite a bit more, but the battery life, build quality, and performance is just top notch. It'll last much longer.
