Bought one from Costco that was an i7 with a Nvidia GTX2060 years ago. My boys use it as one of their daily drivers and it plays all the games they like: some being Tarkov, BF6, Elden Ring and Rocket League are the ones of the top of my head. Solid machine that came with an ASUS motherboard for the one nay-sayer.

a 5080 build for under 2k is really nice but this CPU just isn't what you should be looking for for gaming

Well you're looking at around 1700 or so just for the components listed in the title. Still need to add MB PSU CASE FANS ETC

Cheaper because of the 5070 graphics card. The OP has a 5080.

I ordered this via the best buy ebay store, it arrived today. Still sealed. Gpu wasnt plugged in properly, m2 drive (corsair drive) had another microsoft account on it and crashes every 10 minutes. Took four hours to update the drivers to get it to not crash. Gpu fans dont kick on at all when you load a game. Already marked for return 8 hours after it arrived.
