The few reviews I was watching ; tho I couldn't find the channel that does the full gamut with professional tools; seem to say this is pretty amazing at full price. Without the ultra low 20ms latency setting turned on It will auto detect everything. A screen. An item in the way of the screen. The color of the wall/screen. And it will auto adjust around those. It's extremely bright and you don't wanna look into the Lazer. It has a function to detect when someone is in the way and will dim and show a warning.

20ms latency mode will not keystone correct so must be manually mounted where it displays head on. Apparently the 4 speakers (no sub) are good cause I could hear quality thru the recording. Im looking for a 8k Samsung old myself; but the reviewers swear the size of 60- 140? inch were dismissive of them thinking they need a tv.

My argument would be at 140 inches vs the 50 inch tv they had; shows the need for higher res at 100+ inches and still may lack some detail. But this and my attraction to 8k Samsung oleds seems like it could be me arguing with my friends that a f1 car is better than their non stock saleen mustangs, Ford lightning etc.Though I haven't seen it myself and I am a person who if you come to tell me my car looks nice I'll be like "eh ; well kinda ; but" and point out this little one inch scratch 😅.

I would definitely get this to at least test it if I didn't have 5 other purchases I'm saving for. At the same time I'm still trying to convince myself this is more than enough; the computer to run a 8k screen is gonna be crazy $$$$ and I'm stalling.

Did you try it out? You liked it?

Try to ask for refund. Usually they would do... It is better for them rather than you return and buy another one.

It shows the promo on the purchase page. Just assume you need to be logged in to see it

Test 1 Updates:
Pros:
1. Bright enough for us - we have a large FROG (~600ft2 playroom over garage) and 3 large windows. Pictures are very vivid on a 100" wall even if not completely dark in the room, as long as lights not shining directly on the wall
-Sound is more than adequate, though deep bass can definitely produce a boxy "boom"
-Portability is definitely a win - we occasionally do backyard movie nights on an inflatable screen, and this would be great for this as long as you're not in direct sunlight
- Keystone works well. Adjustments are quick and accurate

A bit lacking:
-Blacks not as rich as desired. Not sure if possible to adjust for better performance
- Seems to be on max brightness all the time - also not sure if this is adjustable
- Probably not the option if you want to mount on ceiling as it's taller and would protrude awkwardly

We have young kids and may go with a ceiling mounted projector to protect the unit more, but the portability of this unit is definitely a draw.

Seems to be a solid upgrade for the $700 mark. YMMV!

Thank you. I went with the 4K SE. Cant wait. Our 4K projector died and I've been using a cheapo 1080p one. So excited to toss that back in the toy box
