I was able to get the 10 Pro for $389 by selecting the 20GB plan and using code YEAROFMINT. I'm not sure how the math worked out that way, but I'll take it!

Who told you the phone is unlocked? From the order page, it said No to Unlocked.
Not who. You open the My Pixel app on the device. Or use the many free check websites.

I tried that site and it oddly said my Pixel 10 pro was an iPhone. I'd suggest trying both the verizon and tmobile IMEI checkers. Both said my phone was compatible and I unboxed it and confirmed it's unlocked.

Without the sim tray, I wouldn't take it for free...heck, not even they pay me to take the phone...
Might as well get used to it. Soon none of them will have sims.

Received P10PXL 256GB. Made sure the phone was unlocked and confirmed it was. I just did physical sim (T-Mobile) to esim transfer and works fine. I can't speak for rest of you but mine was unlocked and working. Now I just need to figure how I can use the 1 year of UNLIMITED Mint mobile service but only spare phone I can use this needs physical SIM card. What is the process of getting a physical sim card from Mint Mobile to activate the service on my spare phone? I don't really care if my spare phone gets locked to Mint mobile

I have another mint plan. Can I transfer the esim to this one and just use both the sims instead of porting over the number which I can't anyways(they only allow non Mint number to be ported over)

There is a method folks went through to get it unlock.

When turning on for the first time, do NOT connect to a Wi-Fi network or use the Mint eSIM. Get a new esim from your current provider and activate it on the Pixel. This prevents the phone from receiving the signal from Mint to network-lock it. If you don't follow this, it will network lock. My guess is many are just connecting to wifi and trying to download an eSIM from their current provider and its getting locked by Mint.

That doesn't make sense. Getting any eSIM, new or otherwise requires an internet connection to be established before you can attempt to install an eSIM.

eSIM can be downloaded via QR code from another device. Then activated and it will establish a mobile connection. I do it all the time in Europe with prepaid eSIMs.

How do you install an eSIM without WiFi
